But things did not turn out the way she had hoped. After Pickler was 12, the court returned her to her grandmothers, who brought her up to adulthood. Pickler needed to look after of her kids without parents. The mother of three admitted she did not find time to attend school, and she began to be a domestic worker at an early stage.
