Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen, an American actress and singer-songwriter from St. Louis Missouri. She is best known for her part as Jenny Humphrey on the CW show Gossip Girl and as the lead singer of rock band The Pretty Reckless. Momsen's songs have been featured in television and film shows such as How to Be a Single and Going the Distance. Taylor Momsen, born in July 1993, has older siblings Sloane Momsen. She was a dancer at the Center of Creative Arts in St. Louis. In a Shake and Bake national advertisement at the time, momsen was the first to act professionally when she was three. Momsen had a career pause for three years before she was selected as the main character in Misconceptions which is a WB television show. Momsen played a part in Saving Shiloh which was a film from 2006. Additionally, she auditioned to play the lead role in Hannah Montana. She was among the top 3, but Miley was chosen to play the lead role.
