Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is a American writer, singer and actress well-known for her character Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. The musical Bettle performed in Two's Company was her first acting role on stage in the 50s. In 1956, she got her first big break in the stage on Broadway along with Li'l abner. In 1957, she released her debut music album named It's time to Tina. Her first appearance in Hollywood was as Griselda in God's Little Acre, a 1958 drama. The film received widespread praise. Louise won the Golden Globe Award under the New Star of the year category. While in New York, Louise enrolled at Actors Studio and began her relationships with Lee Strasberg. The year 1964 saw her signing with CBS and played Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour managed to juggle between Broadway and Hollywood portraying somber character as against her famous image as a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series also featured her as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although over the past few years, she has also made an impact as an accomplished director on numerous well-known TV shows including Supernatural or The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965. Her family then relocated to Toronto for her early years. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the role, and has been settling down in Toronto ever since.
