Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model actor author designer and activist for animal rights. The actress is famous for movies like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) as well as The Getaway (1972). She grew up in an artist family in New York and wanted to pursue a career in arts. Her first job was as an assistant to photographers. Then she moved on to modeling and acting. Her first two movies got noticed and earned her the Golden Globe Award of Most promising newcomer. MacGraw's 1970 movie Love Story was an international smash, and earned her the Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. The film was recognized as the most successful box office star in the globe after just three movies. In Grauman's Chinese Theater In 1972, she had her signature and hand-footprints engraved. Some of the films she's been in include The Getaway Convoy Players as well as the TV miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography by her, was released. MacGraw is married three times.
