Sharni Vison, dancer and Australian-American actor, was born in Sydney Australia on 22nd July 1983. Her debut as an actor came in 201 when she was selected to be part of the Australian Soap opera Home and Away where she had a minor role in two episodes. The performance she gave in that small role was so fascinating that the casting agent for the show requested her to play the main roles in the series. She auditioned, but she did not receive the job. In the same episode, Cassie Turner was chosen as a troubled teenage girl who was in foster care. She was praised by both the public and public for her character.
